Hi my name is Gabi. Barefoot shoes and I became friends in 2020, probably for a lifetime.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I read about the concept in an article, and it captured me immediately. What a simple yet great idea: stop adjusting your feet to your shoes, go vice versa instead!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When in Paris, I had the opportunity to visit an actual store. I tried on my first barefoot sneakers and could hardly believe that one could experience such freedom wearing shoes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At that time walking was all about suffering: shoes were squeezing my toes, setting me off balance, and causing me constant pain. I was given custom orthotics, but they proved to be no help in the long run.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Today, I wear no orthotics and can hike wihout pain. Jumping and dancing can still be a challenge, but I believe in my body and in the possibility of a full recovery.  I want everbody to know about the miracles keeping our feet in their natural state brings along, hence this blog. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

My posts are not limited to shoe reviews or my personal experience\/thougths only.
